Like many before me, I’ve decided to take the plunge and escape from “wage slavery”. The rat race has, I must confess, been good to me, at least in the financial sense. But recently, I’ve realised that I’m poor, in terms of lifestyle, free time and choices, and so it’s time to put that right.

In a few weeks, I’ll be quitting my job and moving to Bali, a place which is beautiful, relaxing, and cheap! From there I’ll be earning money with nothing but my laptop and a few ideas, and this blog will tell the tale. I’ll also be living life more fully, exploring Bali and the region, getting fit and playing sports, and continuing to spend many hours toying with technology and the web, and I’ll write about it all on this site. Hopefully, readers will learn about the tools and techniques that I learn and use to make a living on the web, with no bosses, conference calls or 9 to 5 boredom required.
